21-Dec-2000
- This will be the last update before our Christmas
break/vacation...I'm sure we will have plenty of news & photos when we
get back. May the Lord give us and all our family
& friends traveling mercies over this holiday season!
16-Dec-2000
- The Yahoo
Photo Album pages have been updated to include Nate's
pictures from the beginning. From that site, you can
choose/order pictures to be developed and sent to you. We wanted to
make this available to anyone who is interested. We will update
on this location about the quality of the pictures. [The
photos are not photo quality but not bad either...we will adjust the
resolution settings to see if they come out better in the future.

10-Dec-2000
- Late Breaking News! We
are coming home (Georgia) for Christmas
this year thanks to the generosity of Grand Pops Pryor & Grand
Q. So, Nate will get to see everyone after all and see Santa
Claus on the east coast!
We are flying Delta, so they better not cancel our flight. I
know we make jets that can almost fly themselves but it would be nice if
the pilots show up.
09-Dec-2000
- We hung some icicle Christmas lights along the front of our townhouse
today (see feature photos of the week). They look cool! Nate
is going to be a pure joy this Christmas. We don't need any gifts
this year cause he is the best gift we could ever hope to get! Of
course, we wouldn't mind a gift or 2...HeHe!
06-Dec-2000
- Nate saw Santa Claus today (see featured photos above) and we got
a great picture of him and jolly old Saint Nick! That's about
it for now. Enjoy!
02-Dec-2000
- I changed the look/theme of this front page for the holiday season, it is
a manger theme. I hope you like it. We got our family Christmas pictures today and should have them
back in time to get them out to all our friends and family before
Christmas. I also added a picture of Nate in his Christmas
outfit above and changed the welcome page's photo.

My
new Boeing job is still going along slowly but surely and I plan
to stick with it for awhile and make a go of it. So, my job
search has been postponed to a later date (1.5 years or more)
unless I get an offer I can't refuse. One nice thing about my new job is that I have a
brand new 933MHz Dell Pentium III computer with a 21 inch
Trinitron monitor. I reported to some people via email that
it was a 733MHz computer but come to find out later that it is
actually even faster. I never thought I would see the day
where I had a faster computer and bigger monitor at work compared
to mine at home! The fast computer is needed to run
Primavera.
30-Nov-2000
- We had a nice Thanksgiving in Vancouver, BC. We went to the
aquarium there and they have an excellent aquarium...they even have a
performing Killer Whale. We went to the Keg Steakhouse for
dinner. We also got an additional piece of furniture for our
bedroom set. The Canadian exchange rate and avoiding sales tax
saved us a few hundred dollars...they also delivering it for free
today. It was a good trip and it would have been better if the
weather had stayed nice.

Well,
my new job is going slowly for now but should pick up once I get
trained in Primavera < http://www.primavera.com/
> and the new 767-400 derivative < http://www.boeing.com/commercial/767-400erx/product.html
> program gets rolling. Check out those previous links,
they will give you a lot of info about what I will be working on
and with. I'm very optimistic about the skills and
opportunities I will gain from this job. Primavera is a very
big project management computing tool used worldwide! This
at least is a step in the right direction and better than doing
nothing in project management which is what I was doing in the ME
planning world.
16-Nov-2000
- Things are going pretty good here today, except I have a
cold. I was able to go to Costco with the little family and get
some groceries and other things. Jocelyn is working on some
court accounting right now and Nate is taking a nap, so I decided to fix
up this website a little. I hope you like the changes!
13-Nov-2000
- Well, I have been working a lot of OT lately and haven't had time
to update this website till now. I took this weekend off and
had some fun at a LAN party Saturday and spending the day with the
little family today. I just took some pictures of Nate and
Jocelyn (see Yahoo
Photo Albums or above), Nate is showing
off his cool little outfit Grand Q gave him recently. Nate
enjoyed his first movie last weekend, we saw Charlie's Angels.
His first move was actually X-Men at the drive in, but he didn't
watch any of it. He really likes motion and bright colors
now!
31-Oct-2000
- Happy Halloween! We got creative this year with our
pumpkin and it turned out very well (see photo above). Also,
be sure to look at the adorable baby Halloween outfits Nate &
Reagan got recently. That's it for now. =)
25-Oct-2000
- Well, we are back from a great trip visiting family in
Georgia! Which was made possible by Boeing and an aerospace
conference they more or less paid for me to attend in
Atlanta. Many extended family and friends got to see our
wonderful son for the first time. =) I have added many
photos from this trip in the Yahoo
Photo Albums for all to view. Enjoy!
11-Oct-2000
- This past weekend we went to Issaquah, WA for Salmon Days and had
a good time. We watched salmon swim and jump up river while
they were on their way to spawn. We have enjoyed the new SUV
very much! We have started using Net2Phone
for most of our long distance phone calls, except for a little
speech/voice delay
(like when making international calls) on the end of the people we
call...it is a great deal...you can't beat FREE! We got a headset
from Andrea headsets
and it works good with it. We also plan on trying PhoneFree.com - Place free long distance calls using your PC
So, if you
get a phone call from us and you can hear yourself talking (voice
delay), it is
probably us calling you FREE via our PC.
Jocelyn is updating the Yahoo
Photo Albums and creating new albums, so folks can order
photos of Nate & more. I guess that is about it for
general news.
30-Sept-2000
- Well, little Natester is getting cuter every week. We also
jumped on a great deal from Mitsubishi and got a new Montero Sport
SUV last night. It gives us more room to carry all the new
baby things. BTW, No more Hondas. :(
-
The
job front is still in a holding pattern on every front.
Toyota called and said they should move forward (make a decision)
next week. I also interviewed for a Project Management position
within Boeing Thursday and if I get it I would be working on the
767-400 Extended Range new derivative program. It would be
a nice change and in a PM related position, which is where I
should be at this point in my career! Lastly, it appears
Ford is no go.
26-Sept-2000
- Putting the finishing touches on the new frames based website
layout.
25-Sept-2000
- Still no news on the job front. I updated my gaming
and hockey
websites recently, so please check them out when you get a
chance. I'm working on implementing frames into this website's
layout and hope it turns out okay.
14-Sept-2000
- Got Windows Me installed on my computers and it works just fine so
far. No news on the job front still. I had more here
before, but accidentally lost some of my data input on this news
section when updating the website layout.
-
10-Sept-2000
- Well, not much news to report. The Boeing TN job possibility
has been canceled, I guess they decided they didn't need anybody
after all. I'm still in the running for the Toyota KY job and
hope to know something more by the end of the week. I plan on
updating/fixing my hockey
and gaming
websites tomorrow! I added some new sponsors here. I
hope y'all take a look at them and buy stuff from them.
-
31-Aug-2000
- We had a great race weekend! Bristol was definitely the best
place for me to see my first NASCAR races (Busch &
Winston)! Not to mention it was was great to have all my good
friends with me. Special thanks goes out to AC &
Cynthia, I really appreciate your generosity and hospitality
this past weekend! We had an incredibly fun time and we owe it
all to you. It would not have been possible or nearly as fun
without your efforts and accommodations. I
added NASCAR Bristol race weekend photo albums to the Misc.
Photos albums. There is also a new photo album from
family day at Boeing and many other new photos.
-
23-Aug-2000
- I'm Bristol
bound again! YAHOO! Thanks so much AC for making it
happen after it looked like it might not work out. Tickets for
the NASCAR Winston Cup night race at Bristol are very hard to
get...it's been sold out for 2+ years.
=)
-
22-Aug-2000
- Well, there is still plenty of hope for both jobs! I talked
to the hiring manager for the Boeing job and he is still trying to
decide. I also talked to Toyota staffing and it is between me
and another candidate; we may need to go back for 2nd interviews
before they make a final decision. This waiting game is tough!
-
21-Aug-2000
- Still no news on the Toyota job, we are starting to get very
discouraged about it. I think I did well in the interview last
Monday, but I may not have done well enough. We will keep
trying to hope for the best. Also, there is still a slim
chance the Boeing M.E. Project Planner job in Oak Ridge, TN might
come through with something good. We shall see
*praying*!
-
19-Aug-2000
- No news on either of the previously mentioned jobs. I hope
to hear good news about at least one of them soon! Kenzie is
here for awhile and we are glad to have her visit. BTW, Nate
is now over 8lbs. and 21 inches!
09-Aug-2000
- Good news! Aunt Kenzie is coming here soon to see her
handsome nephew for the first time. She has been roughing it
in the Alaskan wilderness near Fairbanks lately. Grandmother
Rebecca went back to Hot Atlanta today and we enjoyed her visit very
much! Lastly, I made the final cut for a M.E. planner job
opening with Boeing in Oak Ridge, TN. However, I seriously
doubt they can beat the Toyota package I have seen. Needless
to say, Toyota is the odds on favorite!
Please
note: I plan to update this news section at least
once a week!
-
07-Aug-2000
- We went to the 128th Drive-In to see the X-Men movie and The Scary
Movie Saturday night. The X-Men movie was great and Jocelyn
even liked it. Nate did very well during the movies and we are
fortunate he is such a good baby. Plus, I forgot to mention me
and my friends/co-workers Brian Simmons and Jesse Abbott have
finalized plans to go to Bristol
Motor Speedway in TN for the Goracing.com
500 NASCAR race on August 26th, 2000. We will be flying into
Atlanta, GA and driving up from there. Donald & Robbie
might go with us, if dad's Explorer can hold us all.
31-July-2000
- Nate now weights 6lbs. 8oz. (same as me when I was born) and doing
very well according to his doctor visit today. My Dad and I got in a round of golf at Harbour Pointe Golf Course
today and I got sun burned. One of these days I will learn
that I burn easy, but it was a beautiful day and worth it. I
also got my first legit par today!
30-July-2000
- I have added a news archive page to
keep this front page as simple & small as possible. BTW,
Nate took his first outing to downtown Seattle and Pike's Place Market
yesterday and did very well. We got some fresh fruits, vegetables,
flowers and fish; which Cynthia made into an awesome dinner!
Plus, Nate has made out well with Grand Pops & CC here and got
many new things from Babies R Us.
29-July-2000
- In
an effort to conserve web space I have decided to post all new misc.
photos at:
-
They provide a whopping 25MB of space there for photos for free, which is a
lot and great for all the digital pictures I take. Interesting how they
offer more web space for this service and only give you 15MB with their
Geocities website service, which is one of the primary reasons for
moving to this URL. This method/service will make it easier to organize all my
photos without having to create new web pages and/or tables to hold
them. Nate's primary web page and photos will continue to be located here
for now. Lastly, you can even order actual photos from these photo albums. This is probably why they offer such a large amount of
web space for photos. So, some things have changed and will
continue to make improvements. Stay Tuned!
-
25-July-2000
- This is going to become a news column from now on,
supplemented by the other web pages and websites located in the
links section (left hand side column). Please Note:
Nate's
baby pictures and web pages will continue to be located at the
old Geocities website, since there is a lot of pics and to
continue utilizing the free web space there! I have
added a Bio, Search
and Sponsors pages in order to clean up
and decrease download time of this main page.
Please
visit these sponsors, which will help me pay for the cost of web hosting
for this
website...Thanks in advance! I highly recommend
all the sponsors (most from personal experience), especially Buy.com,
Dell.com,
McAfee.com and Priceline.com. Fell free to email me
if you have questions or concerns about buying online via these sponsors
and I will be happy to reply. I'm very internet savvy when it
comes to buying online! Happy Online
Shopping...the only way to go in my book! This news
section is just getting started. It shouldn't take me long to fill up
this space/column and once I do I will create a news archive web
page. Oh and JP's
Hockey and [CNW]
& Asheron's Call websites are under construction as I move
them to their new homes at Geocities.
I hope you like the new look and if you are viewing this
with MS IE 5.0+ you can see the cool little URL address icon in the
address field above. Pretty cool...huh? Lastly, we have
changed from JP² to JP³ with
the addition of Nathaniel. Take care folks!
-
29-June-2000
- Well, little Nate is hanging tough! BTW, if anyone is
interested we are on the baby registry at:
